phosphorescent: “wolves”
[these brave souls came to reno a few weeks ago and decided to play a show at one of our favorite establishments, lincoln lounge: which happens to be a business owned by our good friends. background information from all of you out-of-towners: the bar is downstairs and our friend’s (ridiculously rad) flat is above. it is located on 4th street - which is notorious for it’s hookers, homeless, and drug dealing citizens. anyhow. the guys from phosphorescent put on an amazing show. in the freezing cold. outside. in front of around 90 people (max). then the cops came and told them to stop. so…they didn’t. so. the cops came back again. so…they unplugged all of their gear and kept playing. so…the cops got frustrated and left. then the band proceeded to party with a bunch of our reno friends. and ended up getting kicked out of the flat because they didn’t want to go to bed. then. aaron ended up randomly having lunch with them the next afternoon. i’m pretty sure the band may have fallen in love with our little shitty city - as most people do when they come visit. and reno loves phosphorescent. oh - and they played this song. and it was fantastic].
